The company was established in 1986 with Saka Moto Japanese automatic shuttle looms and as per the demand of time it upgraded the units with latest technology. The textile scenario in India was poised to become more enterprising and proficient with a global outlook in the eighties when Er. B. N. Agarwal - a visionary with immense entrepreneurial skills and renowned technocrat realized the importance of futuristic fashion and fabrics in India. Woven intricately with Mr. Agarwal's vision, foresight and determination, the brand - KSM was created in the significant year of 1986, and within a short span of time it became a household name along with other Indian brands.
Initially it was in Jodhpur where it was acclaimed as the best managed company by Rajasthan government. Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat (later Vice President, India) awarded it as one of the best managed companies of the time. There after in year 2003 it got shifted to Bhilwara, also known as Textile City.
Currently, the company serves more than 200 clients worldwide with Rapier and Projectile technology used in manufacturing.

The company currently produces 3 million meters of fabric annually in its production unit located at Bhilwara.
